Supporting Community Connexions

Community Connexions is at the heart of helping local people stay independent, included and connected. Every journey we make, whether it’s getting someone to a medical appointment, helping them pick up their shopping, or making sure they can still see friends, is only possible because of the amazing support we receive from our community.

Our passenger, Becky’s story

Becky, from Matson, has used Community Connexions for four years. Living with cerebral palsy, she relies on our volunteer car scheme to stay active and volunteer at two local community groups. She books her journeys a month ahead with Sharon on our team, and usually travels with her regular driver, David, whose support and understanding make every journey easy and comfortable. Community Connexions helps Becky stay involved, independent and connected to her community.
