Donations are vital for helping our charity continue helping people who need transport the most get to where they need to go. “I gave you a donation because people need transport! Nowadays, you can’t rely on friends and family to take you where you need to go. When it came down to it, my friends weren’t well enough themselves and my family lived too far away. I’d not have been able to make my hospital appointments without your service so I wanted to help with a donation so you can keep helping others, like you helped me.” – Mr Lane, a passenger with Community Connexions since January 2018.
Your donations go towards the running costs of our much needed service which has such a positive impact on people’s lives, helping them retain their independence and tackle the loneliness that comes from being unable to go anywhere.
If you’d like to donate directly, you can do it via the donate box below. Read on to find out about other ways to raise money for Community Connexions.

Last Will & Testaments
A gift in your will can help keep our charity going. We have gratefully received legacy donations in the past which we have used to help keep our services running, helping people in need.
Donations can be monetary or in the form of items or gifts, such as cars. It can be easier on those left behind to leave a car to Community Connexions because we are able to handle the process of evaluating it for use or resale. When donated cars are viable, our volunteers use them as part of our transport services. When they are not, we sell them and use the money towards keeping our invaluable service affordable for people.
We make the most of all donations, using what we receive to do the best we can to help as many people as possible. In 2010, Mr. Taylor left us a donation in his will which we used to buy three accessible cars which we then used as part of our services. When they got too old, we sold them and used the money towards keeping our other vehicles taxed and road worthy so that we can continue to help people get where they need to go.
